Projected Costs for the Emeryville Center of Community Life Project
A preliminary cost analysis has been completed for the Emeryville Center of Community Life project on the AC Transit site based on general assumptions regarding land acquisition and construction costs. The analysis looks at two different project options – an all new construction project and a combination rehabilitation/new construction project. The total cost of the all new construction project, including the future community theatre, is projected to be approximately $183 million , while the cost of the combination project is projected to be $158 million. Without the community theatre, the all new construction project is projected to cost approximately $172 million, while the combination project is projected to cost approximately $147 million.
